Used it in a stock 03 6.0 that started hard and took longer and longer to smooth out. It got to the point that it would do that if it was 70 degrees out. There was a lot of white smoke at startup and it would smoke and hesitate the first time you got on it. First, we were quoted for injectors. Then we started with this stuff. We used the full dose to shock it. It ran better, but wasn't completely fixed. Turned out to be the FICM - fuel injection control module for those who don't know... mainly due to running old worn down batteries. After that, it started and and performed even better than the first signs of FICM failure. Might have been just a little less engine noise as well. The stuff isn't thick like a snake oil while many products are, so it won't gum anything up. It is the same color as the green Rislone cleaner, but has a different smell. (I had the two side by side) Anyway, after the FICM, we still run a maintainer dose on oil changes, and after 7,000 miles, it's a medium honey color. If this stuff doesn't fix it, make sure the FICM is putting out it's 48 volts.
