Everyone's experience with car parts is different. My particular experience with this part so far has been great... My old cat from 2003 Jeep weighed a good 20lbs more then this which is great for the average on your back installer and was easy to clamp on for testing before weld.. It's stainless so I know it will outlast the car & so far about 2-weeks & 2500 miles no codes or CEL light.. Being smaller is great that I won't ding or split it on a speed bump.. I noticed an increase in gas mileage approximately 1.3mpg BUT my old cat was trash so I'm not sure if it was a gain or if I regained lost mpg from a failing unit. Nice and quiet and it looks good in the sense that come inspection time I doubt I will be asked for documentation. My old cat was scrapped for $35 so all in all I couldn't be happier.
