As noted by another reviewer, although advertised as 16 oz., and while a sticker on the plastic bag it comes in says 16 oz., the printed package insert says 10 oz. The 10x12 foot size is the cut size, i.e., the size before hemming. The package states that approximate finished size is 9'6'' ; by 11'6''; which is a reasonable size with the hems. The tarp I received, however, is only 9 x 10 1/2 foot. The hems are not sufficient to account for this, so the cut size was probably less than the advertised 10x12 feet. Other than the foregoing, the canvas seems good and well-made, and according to the package insert it was made in the USA, not China or some other communist country.
