High quality build with OEM aesthetics, but two issues:
1) Light bulb harness mounts on to the back of unit with four clips.The harness has four clips with fit perfectly, but is also keyed.
~The keyed tab position did not match factory tab position~ but the plastic tab is flexible enough it simply bends out of the way, allowing all four clips to engage properly. Clip could also be manually removed, and does not appear impact functionality whatsoever (seal, and mounting do not appear to be impacted by the plastic tab).
2) The unit is a few millimeters deeper than the OEM, so it protrudes by the few millimeters, only noticeable on close inspection.
Wouldn't surprise me if the two are related, and the keying signifies a minor variance in the model year/depth, which the manufacturer didn't take into account or has listed incorrectly for the make/model compatibility. I could be totally wrong and it's VW/Audi's fault, but who knows. If the key and fit is correct for your make/model, then this is a 5-start product. Contacting TYC might resolve this issue for you, and I highly recommend the effort, as it's otherwise an excellent replacement part. I bought open-box from Amazon Warehouse so the price made it worth keeping, but I suspect the above reasons were why it was returned in the first place.
