I am a US Army soldier currently deployed to afghanistan. After a few weeks of sleeping in trucks, on cots, and once or twice on the groung my girlfriend sent me her at hybrid hammock. The first night i got it and hung it up i got the best night sleep ive had in months. Since i recieved mine several others have ordered them and we use them every day. i have used mine as a tarp to stay out of the sun and to hide from the many spring rain storms they hae here. this thing is just as waterproof as they say. i have also used it as a makeshift blanket. i truly trust my life on this thing and it has become my single favorite piece of gear. If something ever happened to mine i would buy another one in a heartbeat.
