1st... what this REALLY is: Eminence Beta-12cx 12" Coaxial Driver
2nd... what a HUGE upgrade in sound over the stock Kustom drivers in my powered monitors. It was harsh and painful before. Now, its pleasent to stand in front of the cabinet. Before you would have to dodge the line of sight...

Just finsihed a wedding with these and everyone was on the dance floor (with the addition to my sub)... very clear and confident sounding speakers.

Finally, just have to say that I have never been let down with Eminence speakers. I have guitar speakers, the Lab 12 (earth shaking), Alpha 6.5's (amazing!)and these Beta-12cx's... Eminence has saved me from a life of mediocre speakers and bad tone. Life is good!
