This is wonderful. After initial bleeding the hose (see below), this can be quick connected securely before the dial is turned which opens the schraeder valve connecting the tank to the a/c system. The original connections had no dial and were terrible and it was hard to not lose freon and oil when connectiong them. These new ones can be hooked up first before the dial depresses the valve. I am very pleased with them.

*Note that the dial must be turned considerably to open the valve and bleed the hoses while the car is still off so you can hear the freon finally purge the hoses.
