This is very disappointing !!!
I just purchased 2x three plier sets.
These pliers are "not" what is shown in the photograph (see handle markings GS DIN in photo)
Also the set delivered is clearly marked "MADE IN SROV" (Socialist Republic of Vietnam).
Clearly "NOT" shown in the Photograph!
This is very deceiving!
There is "NO" indication of spec or hardening on product either?
While my research tells me Wiha has factories in Vietnam (so they are Wiha Product).
I am not confident they are as valuable, or spec out as a European Made similar product
As a set of Wila "Made in Germany" this set would have been a bargain at around $40 USD.
But as an the ASIAN (SROV) lookalikes they are over priced by at least 50%.
Knowing the labor conditions and pay scales of Vietnam.

On the positive side I can report they are better machined and finished than most Asian imports!
I would say near to Wihas Taiwan products but still below their Proturn brand and almost comparable the "GERMAN MADE" Basic series.

If these had been correctly identified I would have chosen individual German made pieces over this lookalike set in this price range.

It took three email exchanges,
but,
Amazon has made a very fair adjustment in my case.
On the Country of origin issue "Trust but Verify" and don't accept substitutions!
