It will fail if a bear sits on it, but for lightness, compactness, ease of setting up and taking down, stability and flat table surface, this is much better than two card tables side-by-each. The top does not "oil-can" when pressed down. In fact, it barely moves at all. There are three selectable table heights, lowest being just right for kids sitting on the ground/floor to play games with their legs underneath the table. Slide this over the sleeping bags and have "breakfast in bed." Raise the legs to the highest position and wash/dry the dishes. Fold it up and stick it with the folding chairs (takes less space than one of the chairs). Don't panic if it starts to rain and the table is outdoors. It will survive with aplomb while you huddle in your tent/RV/cabin/house. Possibly the only problem is that it is so light that a mild wind might move it around. Tent-stake it down!
