AnyVolt 3 Universal DC-DC Converter Review

Works great but don't test the current overload function. Does not have internal current limiting. I found that out by testing that function with a high power rheostat. The current on either the input or output must not exceed 3 Amps or you'll be sending it back to Dimension for repair, like I did. Their service is great, quick, and were courteous.

I did add a common mode filter to the input/output to keep the ~380kHz switching frequency at bay. I wound two bifilar FT-50A-J cores with #22 triple coated magnet wire to obtain about 460&#956;H. Roughly 800-1000 Ohms CM impedance is realized with this combo from 300kHz to 50 MHz.

Gates K060744RB Blue Racing Micro-V Belt Review

I bought this belt to replace my OEM belt for '01 Corolla. I kinda skeptic about the quality and fitment compare to OEM. I did a lot of research about belts and what companies make them. I decided to go with Gates belt base on a lot of tech used them.

I could have buy their regular belt for half the price, but I want something better in term of quality. Since the OEM belt cost the same as this Gates Blue Racing belt, I bought this one instead.

When it arrived, I compared to the OEM one after taken out. One side of the belt seam was not trimmed perfectly, but the quality is about the same or better and it fit greatly into the groove of the pulleys. After installed, the belt seem to wobbly a little noise if you listen closely because it may be my old belt tensioner. The box and belt seem a little dusty from sitting on the shelf for a while. Belt was Made in USA.

After a week of using, I am happy with it. I would buy it again.

Perfect replacement for my '02 Silverado, 5.3. No problems so far, it has 3000 miles or so on it now. High quality product equal to or better than OEM. I was planning on ordering ACDELCO from Amazon but the reviews had me wondering, so I went with the Gates, glad I did. I also ordered the Gates 33910 thermostat housing, pleased with it also. My only issue with the water pump is that I wish it came with the new mounting mounts bolts, mine were pretty corroded after 180,000 miles and needed to be replaced. Also save yourself a few more dollars and order your Gates hoses from Amazon at the same time. I don't think you can go wrong.
