The material of the rings is so thin that it dents when put on the wheel. Used a rubber mallet that is made just for installing hub caps on classic cars and when it made contact with the ring the ring dented. These are being used to clean up the wheels on a horse trailer so I will continue to use them but if my intent was to use on a car or truck for looks I would have sent them back after the first dent on the first ring. I would not recommend these to a friend.
