Brakes feel strong and better than before. I have bought the bargain brakes before and ended up replacing them after a few thousand miles. Just get the good stuff the first time and they will last. I used Raybestos 580279R Professional Grade Disc Brake Rotors with the new pads. So far no noise or squeaking. I also used Speed Bleeders so I could bleed the brakes by myself but the front and rear bleeder screws are different as the rear are drums. Still good to have.
