I really like the concept. It would prevent door dings. And, it acts like a garage divider, and that's a big plus if you have a two car garage with one door like I do. I really wish I didn't have to return this.

It's not the price; I would gladly pay that if it worked reliably. It's not the overly complicated instructions and installation process; I had it professionally installed. It's not the silly manual air pump.

It is the fact that, sooner or later, it is going to leak like mine did. The Doorpal suffers from an inherent design flaw. Its design is based on the technology of an inflatable toy. And we all know how reliable they are. It doesn't make any difference if it's made out of `16 gauge transparent thermoplastic polymer', it will leak. And you know how much fun it is to find a slow leak in an 8' x3' plastic raft. It is just not worth the hassle.

Even the manufacturer doesn't believe in the long term reliability of the product. The warranty is only 90 days and loaded with conditions.
