These struts are very nice. The ride is so much better than the factory KYB struts our 2000 Infiniti had and even alot smoother than the last set It had witch were Tokico's witch I thought rode like crap from the start. It still handles curves very well also. I found the post below on a Maxima forum while searching for better struts and gave them a shot. So glad I did because it rides like a luxury car now but still handles like a sports car. They dont have the floaty feel like Monroes do or the bouncing/harshness from tokico & KYB. Not at all. Just great riding/handleing struts.
The single star deduction is due to them being built in China. Thats 1/2 star for the lower quality of China parts that have a higher percent of rejects ___noise___ 1000 and the other 1/2 star for Gabriel not supporting jobs in the USA. Both are high on everyones minds these days and we need to let companies know it. Please support USA jobs Gabriel to gain your star back. lol

Just replaced the front struts on my 2004 maxima sl with Gabriel struts. Got them off amazon for 24.95 ea. Must say best struts I have put on a maxima. I replaced all rubber in the front. I have put tokicos on a 2001. kyb's previously on this max. monroes on a 1992. These by far the best ride. Now trying to source the rears they come in stock and dissapear.

I do agree with this maxima sites post now that I tried them out myself. Great struts! Give them a shot if your tired of the ride quality your getting from other struts.
Remember though' these are not performance struts and may not like lowering springs and rugged driving or racing. If thats your plan I'd pass on them. Look into Koni,tokico Illumina adjustable struts? Your on your own there? These are a stock smooth riding strut for regular street driving that will shock you on your first drive with them and you'll kick yourself for not buying them long ago.
