After a terrible experience with the TYC brand mirrors (I reviewed the driver's side, non-heated version as "Disgruntled"), I purchased this one. It was only $65 or so when I bought it last week, I see the price has gone up substantially. Heck, it went up by 50 cents while it sat in my cart that day. Anyway, I uninstalled that horrible TYC mirror and replaced it with this one.

Like the other mirror, it looked just like the OEM. Although the TYC had a big scratch on it, the rest looked great. The electronics on this one worked fine too. I went for a drive, and although I didn't hit the freeway, I saw none of the horrible vibration or mirror warp I saw in the other mirror. So far, I'm very pleased with this product. Hopefully that won't change when I finally test it on the freeway.

It's a bit more expensive, but considering you'll be sending the TYC model right back after you get it, start with this one. If it turns out to vibrate crazily on the freeway, I'll amend this review.

Icon Proshield for ICON Helmets - Chameleon Review

I love this shield and think it's a great alternative to the traditional dark mirrored shields produced by most manufacturers. It does a good job of not fogging up too which is always a good thing! The only reason I'm giving it 4 out of 5 stars is because it could have been a touch darker. I was riding in direct sunlight and almost had to pull over to put on a pair of sunglasses because the sun was too bright even with the shield's tint. I do understand that it is really only meant to reduce glare. Even so, I wanted to share my experience with people interested in reading a review on this shield. Hope it helped.

HD FM- sounds terrific, and we like the iPod connection, too. Gives you a huge range of options with selecting music. CD player works great, as well.
Cons= Not enough bass response, but, since I already had a subwoofer, it still sounds good ENOUGH with the woofer. Most 'in-dash' players just don't have enough power to overcome road noise for great-sounding bass, tho.

Klein 5102-16 16" Canvas Tool Bag Review

It holds up vary well to sharp and pointed objects and the leather like bottom keeps water and moister out if sat on wet ground (or literally in a shallow puddle). The plastic feet won't scratch semi finished wood floors so I don't usually have to worry about where I sit it (will scuff paint!!!). It's breathable so if your bag does get wet it will at least dry out a little. It has a satchel type configuration with steel all around the top witch makes opening all the way easy and fast (large things have a tendency to want to get hung up). It has a semi rigid bottom that provided you don't load it down will stay flat and stiff. The handles are made out of nice and strong leather (a little mineral oil on them and the straps makes them good and soft and darkens them to match the bottom).

Vary nice and durable bag. I used mine for years and had many heavy sharp edged things in it and aside from looking a little rough and dirty was still as good as the day I bought it.

Price: I have seen them as low as about $27 at home depot and lows and even lower at electrical supply houses.

Size: not much room for anything bigger than a hack saw or large cordless drill and bits. This is a good size to place all your one foot or less hand tools. With a few 5139 zip bags to keep your stuff separate, it makes a nice package.
