Metal � Oxide Semiconductor Field-Effect Transistor is a transistor used for amplifying or switching electronic signals. A MOSFET is basically an electrical switch that allows the flow of electrical current. An electrical switch has two possible states, ON or OFF. Full Range, Class A/B Topology

A class A/B amplifier uses two groups of transistors and it is generally considered to be the best compromise of the class 'A' and class 'B' put together. A pure class ‘A �� amplifier typically has an enormous amount of current flowing through its output transistors with no audio signal. A pure class ‘B’ amplifier has no current flowing through its outputs with no audio signal. This eliminates virtually all of the crossover distortion that ��s possible with class � B’ amplifiers. A class A/B amplifier is much more efficient than a class ‘A� � but without the possible distortion of a class ‘B ��. As if that wasn� t enough, with a Full Range amplifier you not only have the option to run your speakers, but also your subwoofers. By just a flip of a switch from Full to Low, the PH2.500 will change from offering a complete range of frequencies that you need to be able to listen to your 2/3/4 or 5 way speakers to the Low� � that you need for a subwoofer application.

Variable Crossover

Speakers reproduce sound based on high, low, or mid-range frequencies. This process is called the crossover effect and occurs because the vast majority of audio systems cannot cover the entire spectrum sufficiently to minimize sound distortion and maintain an appropriate frequency ratio. In the case of our PH2.500 amplifier, a variable crossover is offered so that you can have the ability to set the frequency at which the crossover occurs, thereby setting sound specifications such as the bass, mid-range, and high frequency reproduction.

2/1 Channel

This feature works for a couple of different installation applications and is multi versatile. The � 2� channel allows you to simply use the PH2.500 as a 2 channel amplifier by hooking up 2 speakers to it. The �1� channel is slightly different in that you can hook up 1 subwoofer in bridged mode.

Variable Bass Boost

The difference Bass Boost and Variable Bass Boost is that with Bass Boost you either have extra bass or you don’t. But with Variable Bass Boost you have control of exactly how much BASS you want to pump out to your subwoofer(s). You get Variable Bass Boost with the CXXM2200 Amplifier.

Low and High Level Inputs

The Phantom series amplifiers have two different ways to get a signal into it. One way is called Low level input and the other is called High level input. A low level input is measured in voltages. It comes in the form of RCA outputs from the back of your receiver and goes to the RCA inputs on your amplifier. A High level input is measured in wattages. It comes in the form of one positive and one negative wire from the back of your receiver to the input terminal of your amplifier with the same wire. Low-level (RCA) input wiring is preferred for best audio performance. Always use a high-quality RCA cable for best audio performance. WARNING: Do not connect BOTH the high level and low level inputs from your receiver to your amplifier at the same time!

I have to say BOSS makes some pretty good amps. I have 2 12" Kenwood sub-woofers and this baby powers it quite well. I took a trip to dallas and kept the sucker on most of the way there for about 3 hours of the trip. I was a bit paranoid that it would overheat. Needless to say it didn't which was cool in my book. This is my first AMP and it peaks around 114 db. I usually hear on AMPS that the fuse would burn out fast. But this one is still alive.

I was looking for a "garage looking" towel rack for my newly renovated two-car garage. I originally purchased one from Sears. Unfortunately, it was flimsy, poorly designed, and more complicated than needed to assemble and install. I returned it and began my search again. The Go Rhino product that I later purchased is just the opposite of the one I found at Sears. It is sturdy, well engineered and easy to install. The shelf above the towel rack is convenient for car care products that I regularly use. I like it so much that I am purchasing another one for use in my single car garage. The product is an excellent choice and, considering the high quality of materials and craftsmanship, it is reasonably priced. I would recommend it.

Clifford 7254X Replacement Transmitter Review

Seems to be a more solid design than the old transmitter that came with my 3.3X remote start system. Those remotes were a little on the flimsy side and each one lasted only about 1-2 years. I hope that this will last for as long as I have the car. Obviously I don't yet have the experience to back up my assumption with real data, but I'll modify this review if it dies on me just as fast.

It was pretty easy to hook up to my system which was not locked by my installer. Some people who's installers locked the system from having additional remotes added will need a pro unlock it. I called around a bit and found a guy who'd do it for $30-50.

The instructions on the back are fairly straight forward. The "command center" on my 3.3X is the button on the little antenna mounted to my window. Other models might vary a bit but I assume most of these systems only have one accessible button. The one real trick that the instructions don't seem to mention is that the system resets from the learning mode very quickly. You'll want to memorize the steps (read very carefully as some steps are multiple presses) so that you can do it fast enough to not have to start over.
